On Wednesday, the weather will be mostly sunny with occasional cloudiness. Only in some mountain and eastern regions light rain may fall. Winds will be calm. Maximum temperatures will range from 26°C to 31°C, about 29°C in Sofia.
In the mountains, the day will be mainly sunny, with brief clouds in the afternoon. Light rain is possible in Rila-Rhodope, Stara Planina, and Strandzha. A moderate to strong west-northwest wind will blow. Highs will reach around 22°C at 1200 m and 15°C at 2000 m.
Along the Black Sea coast, skies will be mostly clear. In the morning, light to moderate west-northwest winds will prevail, shifting to east-southeast in the afternoon. Temperatures will be 26–28°C, with sea water around 26°C and waves of 2–3 Beaufort.
In the coming days, southern winds will raise temperatures further. By Friday, highs will reach 33–38°C. The weather will remain mostly sunny, though in Western Bulgaria clouds may bring short showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
