Starting September 1, the second stage of toll fee increases for vehicles over 3.5 tons comes into effect, the National Toll Administration announced.
Under Government Decree No. 20, adopted on March 31, 2025, the tariff for using the national road network was revised. The first adjustment took place on April 1, 2025, with a 10% increase. From September 1, fees will rise by another 10%, making the total increase 20% across both stages, as planned by the government.
For example, if a route card previously cost 10 leva, it rose to 11 leva in April and will now reach 12 leva from September.
Compensatory fees are also updated, calculated at twice the maximum toll rate for each vehicle category.
The prices of car vignettes remain unchanged.
