Weekly Weather Forecast for Bulgaria
According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, most of the country will experience calm conditions, with only light north-northeasterly winds in the east. Atmospheric pressure will remain steady, close to the monthly average.
Today, Saturday, the weather will be mostly sunny with occasional high clouds. In eastern regions, morning fog or low clouds are expected. Maximum temperatures will range from 29°C to 34°C, around 29°C in Sofia. Along the Black Sea coast, temperatures will be 26–28°C, with sea water around 25°C and waves at 2–3 points. In the mountains, it will be sunny but windy, with highs of 23°C at 1200 m and 15°C at 2000 m.
Sunday and Monday will bring mainly sunny skies, with isolated showers possible in the southeast and southwestern mountains. Winds will remain weak to moderate from the northeast. Daily highs will stay between 28°C and 33°C.
Looking ahead to mid-September, the weather will stay mostly dry and sunny, with only occasional brief showers. Temperatures will be slightly above normal, though gradually decreasing after September 4. Overall, calm and warm conditions are expected through September 15.
