The Kazanlak Rose — a Celebration of Fragrance and Beauty
Every year in late spring, the Bulgarian town of Kazanlak is filled with the enchanting aroma of roses during the famous “Kazanlak Rose Festival” (Kazanlŭshka Roza). This event marks the beginning of the rose harvest season, when the world-renowned Bulgarian rose oil — considered among the finest in the world — is produced.
